Nikit Kumar, B.S.

Nikit Kumar joined the lab in the summer of 2009 after completing an honors undergraduate summer research program and graduating from UC Berkeley. Previously, he was involved in a computational biology lab performing global energy minimizations to predict tertiary structures of proteins based on primary amino acid sequences using parallel processing on supercomputing clusters. He is currently interested understanding the molecular mechanisms of atherosclerosis disease progression, as well as learning about designing and conducting experimental procedures to generate results.
