Kyle graduated from University California-Santa Barbara in 2003 having majored in Religious Studies with an emphasis on Eastern Religions. After working for a few years in various jobs he decided to go back to school to take the classes necessary for admission into medical school. While taking post-baccalaureate classes at San Francisco State University, Kyle learned of the opportunity to join Dr. Raffai's lab as a summer intern. Kyle became a full-time research assistant in June 2008. He is currently studying the affects of apoE on the regression of atherosclerosis in a diabetic mouse model. Kyle is applying to medical schools for Fall 2009 admission.
